Donating
Funding from the school districts who refer students to the Holden School covers only the most rudimentary educational requirements. Support from individual and corporate donors allows us to offer comprehensive programs that are more fun, useful and hopeful.
There are several ways individuals and organizations can help:
- Donate online, through CommunityRoom.net, a free service from Wainwright Bank. Please note that all donations must be made using Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.
- Mail a donation to: The Holden School, 8 Pearl Street, Charlestown, MA 02129
- Use MissionFish to donate part of the proceeds of eBay sales directly to the Holden School.
- Adopt-A-Class and work with us to develop programs that provide students with unique learning experiences while you, or your company, enjoy greater recognition and involvement.
In addition, we would be happy to speak with you about any supplies or educational materials you might want to donate. Our wish list includes:
- Classroom supplies
- Teaching aids
- Computer equipment
- Books for the library
- Athletic equipment
- Photo lab equipment and materials
- Musical instruments and supplies
If you are interested in donating any of the above materials or have questions about other ways you can help, please contact us online or call 617-242-3940.
The Holden School is a fully accredited non-profit organization. Approximately 90% of our financial resources are spent on programs that directly benefit students. All donations are tax-deductible. Financial reports are available upon request.
