2006

Americorps' program for America's Promise Fellows agreed to fund 50% of a position for a Fellow to coordinate a tutoring program for our students.

Fact Set Research Systems provided a grant of $2,000 to support the senior class in their studies, transition services, senior activities and graduation.

The Holden School Scholarship Committee provided $2,000 to support tuition payments for staff members in graduate programs leading to licensure.

The Clipper Ship Foundation provided a grant of $5,000 to support the work to establish handicapped accessibility.

2005

In November, via the Partners with Non-Profits Program, The City Of Boston's Department of Neighborhood Development provided a grant of $10,000 to complete the work to the school's roof venting system.

The Holden School participated in the Rodman Ride for Kids in collaboration with Compass, Inc. and raised $3,000.

In January the City of Boston's Department of Neighborhood Development committed $15,000 to capital improvements (roof).

An anonymous donor committed $15,000 to capital improvements (ADA).

FactSet has renewed its commitment to Adopt-A-Class by contributing $2,000 to support the senior class.

2004

The Clowes Fund has confirmed support of the Holden School arts program for the 2004-2005 school year.

A grant from the Massachusetts Department of Education will provide summer prep services for students who have not yet passed the MCAS test.

We began an Adopt-A-Class program with FactSet, our pilot sponsor who has partnered with the Holden School and adopted the senior class. If you'd like information about the Adopt-A-Class program, download the brochure and contact us.
